SOFIA (Bulgaria), July 12 (SeeNews) – The Bulgarian municipality of Svishtov will implement a 29.2 million lev ($18.2 million/14.9 million euro) water cycle project, the country's environment ministry said on Thursday.
The project involves the construction of a wastewater treatment plant, two sewage pump stations and 6.2 kilometers of sewage network, the ministry said in a statement.
The project is financed under the EU-funded operational programme Environment.
Svishtov is located in northern Bulgaria.
