Croatia's HEP Invites Bids for Delivery of Electricity in 2013

ZAGREB (Croatia), June 15 (SeeNews) - Croatian state-owned power utility group HEP said on Friday it is inviting bids for the delivery of electricity in 2013.

The public tender comprises two lots as bidders are free to offer one or both lots but must offer an entire lot, HEP said in a procurement notice.

Bids must be received no later than 1100 CET on June 28.

The first lot, covering the period from January 2 until December 31, 2013, is for the delivery of 50 megawatt-hours/hour (MWh/h) daily Monday to Sunday from 0000 until 2400 CET.

The second lot is for the delivery of 50 MWh/h Monday to Friday during the period from January 2 until March 29, 2013, and from October 1 until December 31, 2013, from 0700 until 2200 CET; and Monday to Friday during the period from April 1 until September 30, 2013, from 0800 until 2300 CET.

Bidders for both lots can offer capacity higher or lower than 50 MWh/h but not less than 10 MWh/h.

The delivery point is the Croatian border, on the Croatian side of the border with HEP’s or the bidder’s cross border capacity. The bidder can offer delivery of electricity inside Croatia as well.

HEP said it will inform the bidders about its final decision by July 6.
