CHISINAU (Moldova), August 21 (SeeNews) - The Moldovan central bank sold on Tuesday its entire offer of Treasury bills worth 133 million lei ($10.7 million/8.6 million euro) as yields fell.
Primary dealers placed bids for a total of 387 million lei in 91-day, 182-day and 364-day T-bills, the central bank, which auctions government securities on behalf of the finance ministry, said in a statement.
Yields on the 91-day T-bills fell to 5.52% from 5.60% at the previous auction held on August 14. Dealers placed bids worth 118.8 million lei versus 45 million lei on offer.
Yields on the 182-day T-bills decreased to 5.88% from 5.99% at the previous auction a week earlier. The central bank received bids for 134.1 million lei worth of T-bills compared to 58 million lei on offer.
Yields on the 364-day T-bills were down to 7.21% from 7.26% at the previous auction on August 14. Dealers placed bids for 62.8 million lei worth of T-bills versus 30 million lei on offer.
