PODGORICA (Montenegro), June 15 (SeeNews) - Montenegro's May consumer prices rose 3.5% on the year compared to a 3.6% rise a year ago, the country's statistics office said on Friday.
Month-on-month, Montenegro's consumer price index (CPI) rose by 0.4% in May, the statistics office said in a statement on its website.
In April, the country's CPI rose by 0.5% on the month and was 3.1% higher year-on-year.
Montenegro's average annual inflation accelerated to 3.1% in 2011 from 0.5% in 2010.
