BUCHAREST (Romania), June 28 (SeeNews) - Romanian propetry restitution fund Proprietatea [BSE:FP] said on Thursday it sold its 11.13% stake in local fertilisers maker Azomures [BSE:AZO] for 130 million lei ($36.5 million/29.2 million euro).
The fund sold 58,530,066 shares of blue-chip Azomures for 2.22 lei per share on the Bucharest bourse, according to data of the intermediary of the transaction, ING Bank.
The buyer of the stake was not disclosed.
On Tuesday, Bucharest bourse data showed that Swiss-based Pelican Fertilizers had raised its stake in Azomures to 96.5% from 75.88% following a buyout bid. Pelican Fertilizers, a subsidiary of Swiss grain and fertiliser trader Ameropa Holding, had offered to buy a 24.12% stake, or 126.9 million Azomures shares, between June 5 and June 25 for 2.22 lei per share.
