Romania's Nuclearelectrica invites bids for environment impact study contract - TED

BUCHAREST (Romania), July 6 (SeeNews) - Romanian nuclear power plant operator Nuclearelectrica has invited bids for the drafting of an environment impact assessment under a contract worth 2.0 million lei ($546,700/441,600 euro), excluding Value Added Tax, a notice in the EU's procurement journal indicated on Friday.

The 48-month contract involves monitoring of the Cernavoda nuclear plant's impact on the environment, the notice published in the Tenders Electronic Daily (TED) showed.

The bid deadline is August 28.

The Nuclearelectrica-operated Cernavoda power plant consits of two 700 megawatt reactors which cover around one fifth of Romania's electricity needs.
