BELGRADE (Serbia), August 20 (SeeNews) – Serbia's sugar beet harvest is expected to fall 12.3% to 2.47 million tones in 2012, preliminary data of the country’s statistics institute showed on Monday.
The expected average yield this year is 38,063 kilograms per hectare, data from the statistics institute indicated.
Final data will be available around mid-September.
