LJUBLJANA (Slovenia), July 12 (SeeNews) – Slovenian wireless carrier Si.mobil said it launched commercially on Thursday services based on Long-term Evolution (LTE) technology in parts of Ljubljana, Brnik and Bled.
Si.mobil said in a statement that it conducted last year the biggest ever overhaul of its network, which is now the biggest and fastest 3G network in Slovenia, offering broadband mobile internet to over 90% of the population.
Many of the base stations in Si.mobil's network are already ready for the implementation of LTE technology, the statement said.
