BUCHAREST (Romania), July 12 (SeeNews) - Some 1.6 million shares, equivalent to a 0.2% stake in Romanian bank BRD [BSE:BRD], traded for 14.6 million lei ($3.9 million/3.2 million euro) on the Bucharest bourse on Thursday, stock exchange data indicated.
The shares changed hands in five block deals at a price of 9.1 lei per share, data from the Bucharest Stock Exchange showed.
The parties to the deals were not disclosed.
Blue chip BRD is a unit of French banking group Societe Generale.
In regular trading, BRD was flat at 9.15 lei by 1124 GMT on the Bucharest bourse on Thursday.
