BUCHAREST (Romania), July 12 (SeeNews) - About 1.8 million shares, equal to a 0.25% stake in Romanian bank BRD [BSE:BRD], changed hands for 16 million lei ($4.3 million/3.5 million euro) on the Bucharest bourse on Thursday, stock exchange data showed.
The shares changed hands in six block deals at a price of 9.1 lei each, data from the Bucharest Stock Exchange indicated.
The parties to the deals were not disclosed.
Blue chip BRD is a unit of French banking group Societe Generale.
In regular trading, BRD was trading flat at 9.15 lei by 1217 GMT on the Bucharest bourse on Thursday.
